The Two Full Brothers, Kye and Gahar
August 2008

Tracy and O'Reilly finished 6th in Novice with a double clear in x-country and one rail in stadium.

Anna and Tavolga completed there first Beg. Novice,
sanctioned event, finishing in 8th with two double clear rounds in
jumping!! Congrats!! |
Jackie and Maggie were clear
on x-country and had one oops in stadium to round out another positive
weekend for the pair.
|
Goklen and Eron had a dissappointing stadium round
but were clear of jumping faults in x-country. Two phases down, one
to go! |

July 2008
The July Come Again Farms schooling show was also a success. Yogi
and Shannon won both of their dressage tests, Tracy
and O'Reilly, Alison and Chapel, and Anna and Tavolga all had
great rounds and got some good mileage for their horses with everyone
placing in the top 4 places. Tracy and Venetian
Glass(Nisha) also won
their trot poles combined test. Windy
Knight amazed all
of us by tackling his first 2-2'3ft course with ease and bringing home another
blue ribbon at only his third jumping show ever! Goklen got around in his
lately unusual manner, but finally got through the triple in a "normal" manner
by the end.
The IEA sponsored one day, Leg Up, opened July. Here are the results!
![]() |
Alison and Chapel finished 4th in the Novice Division
with a double clear in x-country and a rail in stadium. |
Tracy and O'Reilly finished 2nd in Beg. Novice with a double clear in both stadium and x-country.
|

Jackie and Maggie were orginally ahead of Tracy but a slight mistake
on course and they had to settle with a double "clear" in x-country
and 4 faults in stadium. Otherwise, job well done team! |
| Windy Knight and Eron finished 1st in their first event together, 2nd after dressage and two double clear rounds to finish on top. Great job Windy!! | ![]() |

April 2008
The
third weekend in April officially started the 2008 show
season with the Heartland Combined Test. Windy
Knight deputed in his first over fences attempt
(away from home) and Nisha (Venetian Glass) entered her first dressage
attempt as a 4 year
old. Both made us proud, Windy by jumping all his cross poles and bringing
home a 2nd place and Nisha by scoring a 67.5% in Intro to bring home
the blue! Goklen got some good warm
up experiance placing 6th in Novice CT (one silly rail due to a bad spot)
and 3rd in
Training CT finishing with
a 33.5.
Saturday was followed by some excellent cross country
schooling by not only Windy (who did his first ditch), Nisha (who did
her first steps) and Goklen (who did his first complete coffin complex)
but
also by Torrid Joe and Chapel who trailered down to meet us. All horse
and rider teams made great strides together ;)!

Windy Knight (Connemara Stallion) placed 1st in both Training level 1 and Training Level 4 with scores of 66% and 70% earning him the Erin Casco Bay Award. The award is given to the highest percentage in the highest level at the show. He also looked stunning as ever in his Knight costume.
Thor (3 year old Fjord) entered his first show with his owner Andrea. They were fifth in their first walk/trot class but more importantly had a wonderful first experience. Thor could not have been better behaved. He also looked smashing in his Viking costume!
- Torrid Joe and Scott placed well in their "hunter under saddle" classes, placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd to receive a Rev. Champion ribbon in that division.
Arslana (Lilly) and Come What May (Heath, owned by Barb), both yearlings, were in their first shows ever as well. Both kids acted beautifully all weekend including loading in the trailer! Lilly also brought home her first ribbon placing 3rd out of 10 in her sporthorse in-hand class. She was a Princess bride in the costume class.
